All submissions must align with one of the following categories:

  • Opinion/Discussion: Think pieces, investigative essays, or critical reflections (max. 1,500 words).
  • Story: Contemporary narratives, creative nonfiction, poetry, or imaginative accounts related to environmental issues (max. 1,500 words).
  • Field Notes: Reports from travels, field studies, or conferences (max. 1,500 words).
  • Book Review: We encourage critical reviews of recent publications, as well as comparative analyses of two or more books exploring a shared theme. (max. 1,500 words).

Submissions can be in English or Hindi.

We welcome contributions from scholars, research students, and professionals engaged in environmental history and the social sciences. Submissions may explore specific themes or present reflective field notes that illuminate the contemporary significance of human–nature relationships. Whether you are sharing research insights, on-ground experiences, or interdisciplinary perspectives, we look forward to your voice.
